Any Employee or Client who has a question, concern, or complaint of discrimination, including harassment based on the protected statuses listed in the Statement of Equal Opportunity Employment above is encouraged to report the matter to the immediate attention of his or her supervision. Home Care Advocate prohibits retaliation against anyone for reporting discrimination and/or harassment, assisting in making a discrimination and/or harassment complaint, or cooperating in a discrimination and/or harassment investigation. Retaliation can include any disparaging comments, uncivil behavior, or any other negative treatment of an Employee by other Employees or member of management that result from the individual’s making a harassment complaint or cooperating in a harassment investigation. Any Employee who believes he/she has experienced or witnessed retaliation should immediately notify his/her supervisor. All reports of inappropriate conduct will be promptly and thoroughly investigated, and will act to ensure that any improper conduct ceases immediately and corrective action is taken to prevent a recurrence. Home Care Advocate LLCwill inform the complaining Employee of the resolution of the complaint. All complaints will be treated confidentially to the extent feasible for an effective resolution. No individual will suffer adverse employment consequences as a result of making a good faith complaint or taking part in the investigation of a complaint. An individual who knowingly alleges a false claim against another will be subject to the full range of corrective action, up to and including dismissal.
